I am a member of the RSPB, British Trust for Ornithology (BTO), Somerset Wildlife Trust, Butterfly Conservation, Woodland Trust and Friends of the Quantocks, and a keen supporter of CCS Adoption in Bristol.
I was a Trustee of the National Axial-Spondyloarthritis Society (NASS) from 2009 to 2020, and remain an active member of this wonderful charity for people with inflammatory arthritis. Axial-spondyloarthritis, which includes the condition called ankylosing spondylitis, may not be familiar to many people yet it is more common than MS.
